We are incredibly proud of Connor Gilbert for competing in the Speak Out For Agriculture contest at the Heart of Texas Fair this weekend! Being one of the top 16 finalists out of 59 competitors in the Sweet 16 round is no small feat. During this round, competitors tackled an important question: "The nation’s tax policy has become increasingly complicated and cumbersome. What should a balanced and beneficial tax policy look like for agriculture?" The finalists gave thoughtful and well-reasoned responses, showcasing their knowledge and passion for the future of agriculture. Way to go, Connor!

September 2023, Pittsburg FFA had 17 members attend the Stephen F. Austin State University Agricultural College Experience Day. Here, students participated in hands on labs at the agricultural farm as well as the College of Forestry and Agriculture.
