Board Member Information
Dr. Greg Miller - School Board President
Dr. Miller is married to Teresa ( 32 years) and has 2 sons that have graduated from Pittsburg ISD. Dr. Miller is pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church of Pittsburg where he has served for 27 years.
Dr. Miller is a graduate from Pittsburg High School, class of 1988. He holds an Associate Degree of Science from NTCC and an Associate of Theology from Slideel University. Also, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management both from Western Governors University and a Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D., in Information Technology from Capella University.
Greg was elected to the Pittsburg ISD school board in May of 2013.

Christian Yantis - School Board Vice President
Board Member Christian Yantis assumed office in May of 2015. Mr. Yantis grew up in The Woodlands, TX outside of Houston. He received his Bachelor of Science in Management in 1996 from Texas Tech University. Mr. Yantis is married to Casie Johns Yantis who is currently a GT and Reading Teacher for PISD. They have three sons Jackson Yantis PHS Class of 2018 and Texas A&M Mays Business School graduate 2022, Wade Yantis PHS Class of 2021 currently a Sophomore at Texas A&M University Pre-Medical/Kinesiology, and Charlie Yantis a Freshman at Pittsburg High School.
Mr. Yantis is currently co-owner of Yantis-Johns Insurance. He joined Yantis-Johns insurance in 2002 after working in sales and marketing research for AT&T. Mr. Yantis is very active in the community of Pittsburg. He has served as Rotary President, coached little league, is a member at First United Methodist Church, has served on several site-based committees for PISD, and is a board member of the Pittsburg Economic and Development Committee.

Vernon Rowe - School Board Member
Mr. Rowe is married to Sandra Rowe. They have 3 children Jennifer Bowman, Brad Rowe, and Jessica Kimbro. They are proud grandparents of 12 grandchildren Duncan, Liam, Cechy, Mary Katheryn, Rowen, Ewan, Chloe, Madelyn, Naomi, Emma, Timothy and two great grandchildren, Clementine and Ophelia. Mr. Rowe has lived in Pittsburg for 36 years.
Vernon graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor degree in chemical engineering and a master's degree in environmental engineering.
Mr. Rowe is a member of the Registered Professional Engineers and is a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church of Pittsburg.
Mr. Rowe was elected to the Pittsburg ISD School Board in May of 2013.

Bryan Berry – School Board Secretary
Mr. Berry is married to Kelli and has 3 children, Karli, Kyle, and Blakely who
all currently attend Pittsburg ISD.
Bryan moved to Pittsburg in 1990 and graduated from Pittsburg High
School in 1998. He went on to receive his Commercial Pilots license from Texas
State Technical College in Waco, Texas. Mr. Berry and his wife, Kelli, started
Bryanmark Construction LLC in 2007.
He and his family are active leaders of the Camp County Youth Sports
program, members of Emmanuel Baptist church and are dedicated members of
this community.
Bryan was elected to the School board in May of 2020.

Mario Willis – School Board Member
Mario Willis is a 1999 graduate of Pittsburg High School. Mario has two daughters, Amiyah & Lovie, and a bonus daughter Imani. Mario has worked for KCS Railroad for 21 years and has gained valuable insight and experience over his time with KCS while holding positions in both operations and management and he remains a loyal employee today.
Mario has coached youth baseball & softball in Pittsburg and was also instrumental in the success of the Pittsburg Youth Football League by coaching for many years. Over the years, Mr. Willis has participated in countless fundraisers and events for Pittsburg as a whole, but particularly for the youth. He is proud to call Pittsburg home and is dedicated to the betterment of our community and schools for generations to come.
Mario Willis was elected to the School Board in May of 2021.

Linsey Harwell - School Board Member
Mrs. Harwell is married to Joseph Harwell and they have two children, Payton and Hunter. Linsey graduated from Pittsburg High School in 2003 and continued her education at Northeast Texas Community College. She graduated from Texas A&M University at College Station in 2007 with her BBA in finance. She later completed her master of business administration degree at Texas A&M University in Texarkana. Linsey is a faculty member at Northeast Texas Community College where she teaches business courses. Linsey was elected a School Board member in May of 2022.

Lawrence Cleveland - School Board Member
Lawrence Cleveland is married to Jackie Cleveland. He graduated from Trinity
Preparatory School in Winter Park, Florida and continued his education at
Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Lawrence was employed at Pittsburg ISD for 44 years and retired in May of 2022.
He was elected to the school board in May of 2023. He is an active supporter of
the schools, the students and the community of Pittsburg. He has a passion for
encouraging students to get an education and to pursue their goals.
