Champions of CTE Award

On September 30th the Area 3 Career and Technology Association of Texas (CTAT) awarded The Doris Pilgrim Julian Charitable Trust, Paulette Rolston, Eve Pilgrim, and Hal Pilgrim, the Champions of CTE Award. The Champions for CTE Award recognizes education leaders, business and industry executives, and those who support and champion CTE programs as a vital part of developing a prepared, adaptable and competitive workforce. These awards showcase outstanding champions who have leveraged their influence to expand, improve, and promote CTE.

The Doris Pilgrim Julian Charitable Trust has been instrumental in the development of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program here in Pittsburg.  The family supports CTE not only through grants for our programs, but more importantly with their support for our student activities. Whether you are visiting a park, or school in Pittsburg, the positive impact of the Doris Pilgrim Julian Charitable Trust is evident for all to see. The Pittsburg CTE program is happy to have the CTAT Association 3 of Texas recognize our Champions of CTE.
