Pittsburg ISD

This past Saturday members of the PHS UIL Academics Team competed at the Sulphur Springs High School Invitational.

In the Number Sense competition we had the following results:

For 9th grade - Akira Wilkens placed 3rd, Alyssa Johnson placed 4th and Devan Reddin placed 5th.
For 11th grade - Joshua Fletcher placed 5th.
- Akira, Alyssa and Joshua's scores were high enough for PHS to win 2nd place team!
For 12 grade - David Flores placed 6th

In the Calculator competition we had the following results:

For 9th grade - Akira Wilkens placed 2nd, Eva Hankins placed 3rd and Alyssa Johnson placed 6th.

In the Mathematics competition we the following results:

In the Science competition - David Flores placed 3rd for 12th grade.
