DECA
DECA recently attended the state conference in Houston and had several on stage recognitions including two state finalists. All of our competitors have worked on their events for months by researching companies, interacting with the community, networking with business owners, and stepping outside their comfort zone. They have all learned valuable lessons along the way and grown from their experiences.

Chapter & student awards include:
*Charidan Matties, Career Develpment Project state finalist & Texas DECA scholarship recipient
*Diana Balderas, Financial Literacy Project state finalist
*Thrive awards from national DECA:
-Community Service Campaign, led by Fernanda Garcia
-Ethical Leadership Campaign, led by Charidan Matties
-Promotional Campaign, led by Kate Sansom

Melody Burrow and Diana Balderas were also recognized as new district officers.

These girls did a great job of representing Pittsburg and making Pitt DECA proud!

Thank you to all of the PISD staff, parents, and community that support us. We couldn’t do it without you!
